On June 23, engineers, developers, data scientists, and business leaders came together virtually for Domo BUILD: For AI Forward Engineers and Leaders and the message was clear: the next wave of AI is being built right now, by the practitioners and leaders turning intelligent data into real business impact.
Across four learning tracks, attendees heard from over 16 industry experts from organizations like ESPN, Google Cloud, Massman Companies, Altimate Medical, GEOCOMM, Cariloop, and Feld Entertainment. They walked away with new architectures, reusable code, exclusive AI research, and a sharper playbook for orchestrating intelligent agents.

Customer spotlight: Ken Garff Automotive Group
Ken Garff Automotive Group, one of the largest automotive retail networks in the western United States with over 70 dealerships across nine states, faced a critical challenge: their decades-old, on-premise reporting system simply couldn't keep pace with their explosive data growth. What once took weeks to build a report had become a bottleneck to decision-making.
By implementing Snowflake as their cloud data platform and Domo as their analytics layer, Ken Garff transformed their data infrastructure into a competitive advantage. Today, they’re managing over 4 billion records—nearly triple their starting volume—while delivering instant, interactive dashboards to dealership teams across their entire network.
The results speak for themselves. Service department reports that once consumed 400 hours monthly in wait time now deliver insights instantaneously, enabling faster operational decisions. From daily performance tracking to role-based dashboards that power weekly reviews, Ken Garff's teams now have trusted data at their fingertips.
Perhaps most impressively, the company's IT team used Domo to uncover recurring support issues, positioning them to reduce help desk tickets by 10-15 percent in the coming year. As their senior director of data and analytics notes, Ken Garff has become “a data company that sells cars”—and they're just getting started with AI and advanced analytics.
