Get ultimate flexibility in how you share data with your teams and personalize the view based on different needs. With customized filter views, you can direct your viewers to the data story most valuable for them, while allowing them to discover and share new insights on their own.

You can now set the default view that others will see when they first view a dashboard. For example, if you want different users to see differently-filtered views of one dashboard, you can set views for each person instead of creating multiple dashboards. Or if you simply want all users’ first view of a dashboard to have a filter applied, you can ensure that default view is the first one everyone sees. After users see the default view that you create, they can still interact with the dashboard and create their own custom views.

Users can save their own custom filters, and even share those custom-built filters with others who may also find them valuable. Users can create filters based on the columns you make available to them.

Note: Any filter views that users create will still be subject to your defined personalized data permissions.
