These new enhancements to Workflows give administrators more granular control over automated governance processes and user notifications, helping you create a more streamlined and secure Domo experience.

Workflow Event Triggering - Access Request

Managing user requests for access to content can be a manual and disjointed process, often lacking the visibility and standardization needed for effective governance.

The new "Access Request" event trigger for Workflows will activate a workflow the moment a user clicks "Request Access" on a Card, Page, or App. This allows you to replace manual follow-ups with an automated process tailored to your organization's needs. You can design multi-step approval workflows, route dnotifications to the correct content owners, and create a complete audit trail for every request. By turning access requests into a trigger for automation, you can ensure that the right people get the right access in a timely, consistent, and fully governed way.

Queue Notification Controls

Managing notifications is key to helping users focus on what's important. With new Queue Notification Controls, admins can now define which task queues are eligible to send notifications.

Found on the "Manage Queues" page in the Task Center, this setting gives administrators the power to disable alerts for less critical queues, reducing unnecessary noise for everyone. When an admin enables notifications for a specific queue, individual users then gain the ability to customize their personal notification preferences for task events within that queue. This two-level control ensures that notifications are both relevant and welcome.
