The NBA has increasingly used Domo over the past eight years, beginning as a tool for visualization and reporting. Fast-forward to today, and the NBA is using AI features in Magic ETL to systematically and dynamically estimate viewership of games in order to optimize viewership opportunities, all while keeping a human in the loop. By layering a what-if analyzer approach on top of AI predictions, Domo’s all-inclusive platform allows the internal NBA teams to quickly make adjustments to streaming assignments, allowing for yet another layer of AI-informed, human-approved decision-making.
