Microsoft Office Add-ins Enhancements

The Microsoft Office Add-ins allow you to connect your data with the tools and processes you work with daily. As part of our efforts to continuously improve this experience, we are proud to introduce numerous enhancements to the Office Add-ins.

Secure DocumentIt is incredibly important to protect the privacy of your data and ensure only authorized users have access. This new feature empowers you to secure sensitive information within your documents by limiting access to authorized users only through PDP and security settings. 

Filter DetailsManaging Domo content within your Office documents can be tricky. This feature lets you view the filters set for each imported item to easily distinguish between different versions of the same content. 

Outlook on Mobile To offer greater flexibility and support for Office Add-ins users on the go, you can now access Office Add-ins for Outlook on both Android and iPhone mobile devices. 

Content SwappingTo save time and effort on repeatedly re-formatting content during the import process, this new feature will allow you to replace existing content while retaining previous import settings. 

Enhanced Data ConfigurationTo give you greater customization capabilities for Domo content within the Office Suite, we added the ability to group, aggregate, and order your Domo data during the import process. This limits the need to jump between Domo and your documents to configure data.

Document ConverterThe old Office Plugins are no longer receiving new development and are on their way out. To provide an easier process for switching to the new Office Add-ins, the new Document Converter feature will scan documents from the old Plugins to convert them over to the new Office Add-ins format.
