AI Toolkits & Domo MCP Server (coming soon)

Domo is the place you go to explore data, share content, and build workflows that automate your business. But what if your favorite AI assistant could help you do all of that, right from its own chat interface?

We are excited to introduce the Domo MCP Server, a secure gateway that does exactly that. It lets outside AI agents—like Google's Gemini or Anthropic's Claude—reach in and take action inside of Domo on your behalf. A simple request to your AI assistant can now trigger powerful actions, like building a new card or running a critical workflow, all powered by the security and context of your live Domo instance.  

In addition, you can now package external services and custom Code Engine functions alongside your traditional Domo tools and publish them as Toolkits—which can be deployed as their own MCP server. This gives you one place to define the tools and knowledge that both your internal Domo agents and external assistants have access to. By including third-party MCP servers as tools inside of a toolkit, you can also allow your agents to take action anywhere your tools are configured.

Domo MCP fundamentally changes what’s possible with Domo, transforming it from a destination into a powerful, interconnected engine for your entire business ecosystem.

AI Library (coming soon)

As AI becomes essential to your business, it can also become difficult to manage. Models, agents, and custom solutions are often built in different tools, which makes it challenging to govern usage or even know what powerful capabilities are available to your teams.

To solve this, we are introducing the AI Library: a central hub for managing AI across your entire business. This gives you a single, curated place for all your AI assets, from your models and agents to powerful, reusable AI Toolkits.

A Toolkit is a packaged set of capabilities that you can give to an AI agent to perform specific tasks. Within the AI Library, your team can discover and utilize pre-built Domo Toolkits for common use cases, or create their own Custom Toolkits by packaging internal workflows and Code Engine functions. You can even connect to external services through an MCP connector and save them as Third-Party Toolkits for your agents to use.

Making your AI assets discoverable, manageable, and reusable provides the foundational building block for operating AI at scale.

Domo AI Model Updates

That’s why we are excited to announce we’ve upgraded our AI engine with DomoGPT Medium v2.2 and Large v2.2. These are the next iteration to ongoing enhancements of DomoGPT, which is Domo's suite of secure, private Large Language Models (LLMs). DomoGPT allows users to leverage AI for data analysis, chat, and other tasks without their sensitive data leaving Domo's secure cloud environment.

With DomoGPT Medium 2.2, you can:

With DomoGPT Large 2.2, you can:

• Take advantage of high-performance "hybrid reasoning"

But that's not all — we're also giving you direct access to three of Anthropic's most cutting-edge models: Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Claude Haiku 4.5. Whether you need deep analytical power, lightning-fast responses, or something in between, you now have the flexibility to choose the model that fits your workflow.

Enhancements to AI Chat (beta)

The new and improved Domo AI Chat v2 includes several feature updates that elevate your chat experience in Domo. Updates include:

• The ability to ask complex, multi-part questions about your data
• The ability to ask questions about multiple DataSets
• AI Chat can now perform more in-depth analysis with longer conversations

In the future Domo AI Chat v2 will support Documents and unstructured data, the ability to use Domo tools in the chat, and the ability to create cards, workflows, apps, and more.
