Slicer Card and Variable Linking

Tired of the tedious workarounds required to dynamically filter your dashboards and apps? We’ve made it easy to create the interactive experiences your users want. With the new Slicer Card Variable Linking, you can now directly connect slicer cards to variables, drastically reducing the time needed to build dynamic dashboards.

This update gives you powerful new capabilities. Now you can:

• Eliminate manual data entry: Forget about manually entering hundreds of values for your variables. You can now automatically populate slicer cards with all possible options directly from your data.
• ‍Leverage familiar slicer functionality: Your users can sort and filter the available variable options, just like with any other slicer card, making it easy to find exactly what they need. ‍
• Create context-aware filters: Apply PDP and page filters to your variable options. For example, if you filter an app for one specific account, the slicer will intelligently show only the options relevant to that account.

To get started, simply select the new "Set Variable" action for any slicer card.
