Enhancements to Flex Table Card Type

Flex tables are a powerful tool for highlighting change over time and across multiple values (first, last, min, max); but there are known limitations on user interaction and flexibility with the flex table setup.  

There are several new options now available in the Flex table settings that make them more interactive and focused on highlighting value changes. These updates include:  

• Ability for user to change the sort values on a flex table in an App Studio App  
• New options in default sort to sort by absolute value of change allowing to quickly identify biggest shifts positive or negative  
• Use scale abbreviation available for data labels
• Flexibility on where to show graph data labels (first/last, min/max, etc.) so that graphs do not get too crowded with labels
• Individual settings section for each column in flex table including ability to set Hover text for each section of the flex table and addition of the Absolute Value of change for column options
