He started his career as a teenager at his father’s double-automatic car wash and helped develop a growing express car wash chain before it was acquired by ZIPS Car Wash. Since 2016, he’s led advances for ZIPS Car Wash, including integrating acquisitions, establishing IT standards and helping to create efficiencies across the company to minimize the growth impact during its heaviest acquisition years that took ZIPS from 54 to 290 locations. In recent years, Zak has focused on data collection and reporting from multiple POS systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering with a concentration in Computer Systems and a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems. Zak believes that no task is too unimportant for him to complete, no matter his tenure and he would never ask his team to complete a task he isn’t willing to do. His strong work ethic pours into his personal life through coaching his two children on various sports teams for the last 12 years. Zak has embraced not only coaching his own children, but other kids to make sure they have a positive experience, improve their skills, and develop their ability to work with others.
