Domopalooza 2026 Announcements: New AI Features, Integrations, and Updates in Domo | Domo

Domopalooza is our Super Bowl at Domo, especially for our product-building teams. Each year, our goal is to build new tools that make your quality of life better, both inside and outside Domo’s products. With our new releases, from Domo Model Context Protocol (MCP) to dark-mode Magic ETL, we hope we’ve been able to achieve that.

In lieu of Hack the Domo Stack this month, we’re breaking down our March 2026 releases announced at Domopalooza this year. They’re grouped into four categories:

  • AI Agents and MCP: Using AI-to turn insights into action
  • Semantics and Analytics: Making it easier to work with your data
  • Domo and Data Love: Turning more data into usable information
  • Distribution and Governance: Getting the right data to the right people

Keep reading about what’s new in Domo 2026, and hey—if you have an idea for us to consider at Domopalooza 2027, drop it into our Ideas Exchange. Some of the most-applauded updates started with a simple Forums thread.

AI agents and MCP: The next generation of AI-powered insights

AI’s already helped you find answers faster. Now it’s here to move your work forward.

With the Domo MCP Server, your AI assistants can take action directly inside Domo. When you make a request, your assistant can build a card, trigger a workflow, or move a process forward without requiring extra steps in another tool.

This changes how Domo fits into your composable data stack. Instead of stopping at insight, your workflows continue into execution, creating true actionable intelligence.

To support this shift, AI Toolkits allow you to package workflows, tools, and external services into reusable building blocks. Your agents can use them to take consistent action across systems without rebuilding logic each time.

The AI Library brings structure to your AI strategy. Many teams experiment across disconnected tools. Now you can manage models, agents, and Toolkits in one place, which makes it easier to scale AI across your organization with visibility and control.

Under the hood, DomoGPT continues to evolve. The latest updates support more complex, multi-step tasks with stronger reasoning and longer context. You also have access to models from Anthropic, which gives you flexibility to match the right model to the job.

AI Chat improvements extend these capabilities. You can ask complex questions across multiple DataSets and carry longer conversations that lead to deeper analysis. Upcoming enhancements will allow you to build apps, workflows, and other assets directly from chat, which connects insight directly to execution.

Semantics and Analytics: Explore, define, and build with less friction

Small interruptions slow down work. These updates remove those interruptions so teams can move more efficiently.

App Studio now supports a more fluid editing experience. You can undo changes instantly, save without leaving the editor, and make adjustments without switching tools. This reduces friction in low-code/no-code development and helps you stay focused while building.

Worksheets provide a familiar, spreadsheet-style environment for ad hoc analysis. This makes self-service analytics more accessible, especially for people who want to explore data without building full applications. When needed, that work can evolve into fully developed apps in App Studio.

Report Builder now includes PDF export functionality. You can create structured, branded reports with full control over layout and formatting. Pagination happens automatically for long tables, and distribution follows your existing governance policies, so each stakeholder receives relevant information securely.

With these improvements, you’ll spend less time managing tools and more time working with your data. Read more about how we’re improving the analytics experience.

Domo and Data Love: Connect more sources and prepare better data

Access to data continues to grow. The challenge is turning that data into something useful.

With AI Readiness for top connectors, your Data Dictionary is populated automatically when you connect to a source. This reduces manual documentation and improves how AI understands your data, which leads to more accurate AI-powered insights.

Domo Documents expands your analytics by bringing in unstructured data. You can extract structured insights from images, transcripts, and files, then use that information in dashboards, workflows, or AI agents. This allows you to incorporate previously unused data into your decision-making process.

Connecting to new sources is also becoming more accessible. The AI assistant for the JSON No-Code Connector allows you to describe the data source in plain language while Domo handles the configuration. This makes it easier for non-technical users to connect to a wide range of APIs.

Magic ETL continues to evolve for both business users and technical teams. You can build DataFlows faster, identify issues earlier with row-level visibility, and convert transformations to SQL for full transparency. These updates support both speed and control, which helps you build trusted data pipelines within your composable data stack.

Distribution and Governance: Share broadly while staying in control

As your use of data expands, organization and governance become more important.

Workspaces provide a dedicated place for teams to collaborate. You can bring together data, dashboards, and stakeholders in a single environment, which helps maintain alignment across projects.

Navigation updates make it easier to find what you need. A simplified layout, universal search, and personalized views reduce the time spent locating content and help teams move faster.

Nav Configs extend this control to admins. You can create tailored navigation experiences for different groups, ensuring each team sees the most relevant data as soon as they log in.

Governance capabilities continue to expand. Updates to PDP allow you to apply masking policies within calculated fields, and upcoming global PDP policies support consistent security across your entire instance. This strengthens data governance at scale without adding complexity.

User Impersonation improves support workflows by allowing admins to view Domo from another user’s perspective. This makes it easier to diagnose issues and confirm permissions.

Native App Distribution extends your reach beyond your organization. You can deliver branded, secure data apps to external users while maintaining full control over access and experience.

Dig into the releases yourself

We know you expect more than dashboards these days, and that many of you now need systems that help you act, automate, govern, and scale your work.

At the same time, we also know that you still need your dashboards and cards to work with as little friction as possible.

We hope the March 2026 product release supports you in both. Now, it’s your turn to explore what’s new and put it to work.
