With Domo’s federated data model, you can query data from your existing data lakes and data warehouses without duplicating it in Domo, so you can use Domo seamlessly with your existing infrastructure.

Avoid data duplication, sending queries directly to your data warehouse and creating a high-speed cached version of your data.
Ensure that your data is protected by granting access only to approved database tables, defining the cache time to live, and using Domo’s data encryption in transit and at rest.

Now, you can create federated DataSets in just a few steps with Domo’s federated adapters. Simply navigate to your DataSets in Domo, select the Federated option, and enter your account credentials for your data warehouse. Once setup is complete, your federated DataSets will be available for administration alongside all your other Domo DataSets.
