Nested Beast Mode Calculations

With our Nested Beast Mode Calculations enhancement, you can reference an existing calculation from within a new Beast Mode calculation. But here’s the best part—any changes made to the original calculation are automatically reflected in the calculation using it, so you can create a true reference versus simply copying the calculation.

We’re also excited to share that along with this enhancement, we’ve released a companion ‘Beast Modes used in Beast Modes’ DomoStats report so Domo admins can easily track the Beast Mode calculations being used in other calculations.

Customers often want to reference an existing Beast Mode calculation within another calculation, but attempting to double-click another Beast Mode calculation only copies it and doesn't create a true reference.

Customers can expect the following benefits from this release:

• Create a true reference for an existing Beast Mode calculation within a Beast Mode formula.
• Modifications made to the referenced calculation will automatically be reflected in the Beast Mode calculation using it.
• Track the use of Beast Mode calculations in other calculations.
