Advanced DataFlow Triggering

Dataflow triggering is the process of initiating ETL operations to refresh or update data within a DataFlow. With the new release of Domo’s Advanced Dataflow Triggering, DataFlow authors can employ logic to ensure their DataFlow is running exactly when it needs to and ensure the end users are operating on the most up-to-date data.

The new options with Advanced DataFlow Triggering, available inside the DataFlow settings tab, allow for more efficient, reliable and accurate data pipelines within Domo.

Other benefits include:

• Triggering a DataFlow that can now be customized
• Configuring your DataFlow’s runtime cadence
• Ensuring DataSets have updated within a specific time box of each other. New options include running a DataFlow when all input DataSets have updated since the last run, and running a DataFlow based on a DataSet update only during business hours.
